Dick’s Last Resort Welcomes All Things Green*
For St. Patrick’s Day Celebration March 17th
Edited by Madelyn Miller
The love of the Irish, and all things green* (even
those crumpled old greenback dollar bills) prompts Dick’s Last Resort to
invite all Irishmen and wanna-be-Irishmen to a St. Patrick’s Day party that
even St. Paddy would have loved.
Festivities start at 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, and
the party continues on till closing time. Which, as those of you acquainted
with fun-loving Irish folk know, could be anytime the next day.
Tiny and the King Pins will play every Irish tune they
know, along with their special brand of rock ‘n’ roll. Ask your waiter
about joining our Big Ass Beer Club, and receive a giant mug of your
favorite beer for only $3.50.
There’s never a cover charge at Dick’s Last Resort, the
joint your mama warned you about. Dick’s Last Resort is located at the
corner of Ross and Record Streets in the West End Historic District of
Dallas; for more information, call 214-747-0001.
