Keep Your Eye on the Noodle

The Café Dinner Spring Special
Showcases Traditional Noodle Making Craftsmanship

The live performance of Peking noodle making is brought under the spot light in The Café at the Sheraton in Hong Kongduring the dinner sessions from 1-31 March 2004.

The Café has invited a guest chef with expertise in Peking noodle making to perform his miraculous mastery of turning a thick piece of dough into the slender threads of noodles. Hand-made noodles taste more springy and smoother in texture compared with those produced by machinery.

The talented chef has two performances a day at 7:30pm and 8:30pm respectively on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Diners are also able to have a wonderful taste of the adorable artwork freshly cooked right after the astounding performance.

USE YOUR NOODLE

Apart from the spectacular performance, epicureans can also enjoy generous offers and scrumptious delicacies for dining in The Café.

On top of buffets, guests are able to choose either unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice or soft drinks, a pint of draught Carlsberg Beer or a traditional Indian Lassi with a supplement of $28 per person during dinner buffets or ordering a la carte main course during dinner session. Lassi is a kind of traditional Indian cold drinks made with yogurt, which can be either sweet or salty in taste, up to the choice of guests.

The Café has included a series of wholesome selections of scrumptious delicacies into its dinner buffet menus. They are all of an international perspective and with a wide use of seafood ingredients. Instances are sweet, juicy and fleshy Snow Crab Leg from the United States, spicy and refreshing Thai Seafood Tom Yam Kung, wok-fried Soft Shell Crab with Herbs in Vietnamese style and Simmered Deep Water Whelk in Sake Sauce, which is of a rich Japanese flavour.

IT PAYS TO BE POPULAR

Dining at The Café also enables guests to enjoy the sensational offers of lucrative discounts with more friends coming along for dinner. It costs only $228 per person for four or more guests from Mondays to Thursdays. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays and Eve of Public Holidays, guests can enjoy “buy four get one free” at $318 per person.
