Gadgets to ease travel with tots

By Kathleen Ganster

Inevitably, you get into the car or plane with your little ones and they are instantly hungry. Two cool products can help you with this problem. The first is “Good bites”, a crust less sandwich cutter. Lots of kids hate the crusts and this removes them. Pack up some crust less peanut and butter sandwiches for those trips! This gadget is actually handy for anyone who doesn’t like crusts on his sandwiches. I remember my grandfather found crusts hard to chew in his latter years.

The second useful gadget is the Snack-Trap. This is a cup with a lid that allows little hands access without allowing the food inside to spill out. Designed for dry foods and not liquid, it follows the same concept of sippy cups. Fill it with cheerios and small pretzels and you can whip it out at any time without worrying about spills.

Both products were designed by moms – who better to know what works with kids? Both products are inexpensive and make good gifts as well. They are available at www.mommyshop.com.
