Don’t let the price of fuel put a damper on your next vacation
By Marilyn Loeser
It’s amazing what you can find on the Internet — even a
solution to the high price of gasoline and diesel fuel.
My husband and I put a lot of miles on our vehicles every
year. I drive round trip 120 miles a day to the office and he is constantly
on-the-road making sales calls.
Thinking about purchasing a new van, he was researching the
mileage standards of several models when he came upon
www.tadgergroup.com and was introduced to an Ontario, Canada company
manufacturing a device to help everyone — from passenger car drivers to long
haul truck companies — save money by getting better mileage.
He bought the Tadger, had it installed and it works!
I began thinking this was the type of information motor
home owners would appreciate; and what about pulling travel trailers,
fifth-wheel homes and campers?
What is it and how does it work?
The patented Tadger allows fuel to burn more efficiently.
In addition to better mileage, it helps reduce emissions, extend oil life and
increase horsepower. Users will realize a minimum of a five percent reduction in
gasoline usage and three percent reduction in diesel fuel usage.
“The Tadger Turbulating Atomizer Diesel Gas Emission
Reducer (say that five times fast) creates turbulence by swirling the fuel
before it enters the carburetor or fuel injectors,” company information
explains. “The turbulence exposes more fuel molecule surface area to the air
that is mixed with the fuel for combustion, allowing fuel to burn more
efficiently.
“An efficient burn produces more power with less fuel and
fewer emissions,” said Tadger Group President John Mogford.
You don’t have to change the way you drive either. Third
party testing is an ongoing process according to Mogford. “Trials are in
progress in Austria, the Netherlands, Serbia, Scandinavia, Spain, Italy and
Africa,” he said.
“Closer to home, fleets enjoying lower fuel bills while
spewing fewer pollutants into our air include Grey Coach Lines and the big blue
busses of Great Canadian Coach,” he said.
“We’re even endorsed and recommended by the Chinese
Ministry of Transportation, one of only 28 products selected out of 110
submitted,” said Mogford. “Two of the largest bus fleets in the world, Shanghai
Transit and Beijing Transit, have committed to purchasing the Tadger throughout
2006 and 2007. And we’re currently installing Tadgers on 4,900 buses in Mexico
City.”
And the list goes on: trucking firms, taxi companies and
individuals, like my husband Mark, are installing the devise to better their
mileage and vehicle performance.
