Get Wild with M&M

by Madelyn Miller, the TravelLady

I guess I have always had a special fondness for M&M's®. Perhaps because we share the same initials, I have always felt like each little candy was monogrammed for me. I wonder if Marilyn Monroe, Micky Mantle and Micky Mouse felt the same way.

That's why I was excited about the introduction of limited edition M&M’S Wildly Cherry Chocolate Candies.

This year, National Cherry Month (February) will linger for cherry and chocolate lovers, who can continue to get wild about cherries with M&M’S Wildly Cherry Chocolate Candies. This delicious new treat from M&M’S combines a hint of cherry with the classic M&M’S milk chocolate taste. M&M’S Wildly Cherry Chocolate Candies are “in season” for a limited time of six weeks.

M&M’S Wildly Cherry Chocolate Candies represent the first time the brand has used cherry fruit-flavoring in their candies. Mars conducted consumer research discovering that the combination of cherry and chocolate is one of the most popular chocolate and fruit pairings.

M&M’S Wildly Cherry Chocolate Candies can be found in a deep red package proclaiming “Get Wild!” and featuring Red hanging from a cherry stem.

I think we should have a contest to find out the wildest thing you can do with them. Let us know your ideas and there will be a prize.

And just like the candy flavors that continuingly respond to the desires and interests of consumers, she plans to have several more soon.dave
