There is no Free Lunch, But you can see a Free Movie after Dinner at Savor Dallas edited by Madelyn Miller, the TravelLady No ticket required to Watch No Reservations on the Super Screens at Victory Park
Once again, Savor Dallas partners with AFI DALLAS International Film Festival and Movie Tavern to present a dazzling, full-length motion picture in Victory Park as part of the Savor Dallas 2008 activities. No Reservations, a Warner Bros. Pictures release, will be shown on the giant screens at Victory Park beginning at 9 p.m. on March 7, immediately following the Savor Dallas Victory Park Wine and Food Celebration in the AT&T Plaza. Here's the Ticket Gary Cogill, WFAA-TV Channel 8 Film Critic and Good Morning Texas host, will be MC for the event, which is free and open to the public.
No Reservations is a sizzling romantic film starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart. Zeta-Jones plays master chef Kate Armstrong, whose tightly-controlled life is turned upside down by the arrivals of newly-hired sous-chef Nick Palmer (Eckhart) in her professional life and her orphaned niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin) in her personal life. No Reservations is based on the 2001 European feature Bella Martha, which producer Sergio Aguero called, "A love story that celebrated the universal joy of making and sharing great food." The trendy Victory Park development in Downtown Dallas continues to add more zest and sparkle to Savor Dallas. Incorporated within the striking architecture of Victory Plaza are eleven large, high-resolution LED screens. Eight of these screens - four on each side of the Plaza - move along horizontal tracks to allow for a myriad of configurations and motion possibilities. High fidelity sound and an extensive theatrical lighting system heighten the experience. For more fun and added dimension, the film will also be shown on the American Airlines Center mega-screen. Bring a blanket and your Family Movie goers are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs. A limited number of lawn chairs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Beverages and snacks will be available for sale; no coolers allowed.
