Restaurant,
Retail Area and Exhibits
Denali Park Resorts, which
celebrates its 25th anniversary at Alaska's Denali National Park & Preserve
this year, has announced the May 15 opening of an all-new guest lodge at the
McKinley Chalet Resort and the unveiling of extensive property and room
renovations.
The
new McKinley Chalet Resort guest lodge, which will be the most modern
building in the Denali area, features an upscale restaurant and bar with
views of the Nenana River, and an expanded retail area and interpretive
exhibits for guests. In the new Nenana View Grille, guests can enjoy rustic
regional cuisine and wines next to a two-sided rock fireplace, while the new
Nenana View Bar will offer spirits and a wide variety of microbrews. Lobby
displays in the lodge will include a custom-built model of the park road
corridor depicting tour routes and unique park features.
In addition to the new lodge, all 345 guest rooms at
the McKinley Chalet Resort have been renovated to compliment the new
building, and the entire resort will be newly landscaped by mid-June.

about 300 miles south of the Arctic Circle, Denali National Park & Preserve
in Alaska has more than 21 hours of sunlight at the summer solstice. An

facilities near the entrance to the park. Set on the banks of the Nenana
River in a serene forest setting eight miles south of the park entrance, the
McKinley Village Lodge features 150 guest rooms and in several intimate
lodges. Less than a mile from the park entrance, the McKinley Chalet Resort
features 345 pine-paneled two-room suites in cedar lodges along the river.
Denali Park Resorts, along with Doyon Limited, offers shuttle services and
tours throughout the park., Denali Parks Resorts also provides raft trips
on the Nenana River, and hosts a spirited dinner theater in an authentic
