Mexico Boutique Hotels Collection
Mexico Boutique Hotels designates five new hotels from Isla
Mujeres to Los Cabos Adding to the charm, allure and unique
vacation experiences offered by the exclusive collection of Mexico Boutique
Hotels, the company has designated five new hotels, two of which are
significant in opening the historic destinations of Cholula and Patzcuaro
for Mexico Boutique Hotels. New hotels in Puerto Vallarta, Isla Mujeres and
Los Cabos are a wonderful enhancement and contrast to the hotels that are
already MBH designates in those areas. Director Sylvie Laitre
commented on the additions, "Our collection of hotels is like peering into a
jewellery box and it gets more exciting with every new gem we add. La Quinta
Luna, La Mansion de los Sueños and Hacienda San Angel are masterpiece
restorations. Casa de los Sueños in Isla Mujeres is a conceptual work of art
and Casa Natalia is a stylish haven in typical San Jose del Cabo."
Director general, John Youden, stated, "We have succeeded in broadening our
reach in Mexico year after year and it is inspiring to bring the travelling
public access to even more fine hospitality establishments."

a qualification process and established set of criteria. Explains Laître,
"These new hotels exemplify the varied individual concepts represented
within the whole collection. While individual style and character are key
points in qualifying to be a member hotel, the common elements of intimate
size, personalized service and excellent cuisine are traits that each must
possess."

deeply imprinted by indigenous and colonial cultures. It's a perfect
location from which to enjoy this enchanting town, Lake Patzcuaro, numerous
archaeological and natural attractions and the dozens of artisan towns which
produce abundant Mexican crafts and art work. This hotel is ideally paired

La
Quinta Luna - Cholula - simple elegance * detailed *central
Inaugurated as a hotel in October of 2003, La Quinta Luna has an esteemed
location in the oldest quarter of the oldest living city of the American
continent. On the outskirts of Puebla, just 70 miles east of Mexico City,
Cholula is significant for its pre-hispanic pyramid and its views of active
volcano Popocatapetl. Catalogued as an historic building, the Cárdenas
González de Cossío family rescued this 17th-century mansion in an effort to
preserve history and share it with their guests in its new incarnation. A
focal point of the estate is its library housing a rare collection of 3,000
books. Thick adobe walls and high, beamed ceilings contrast with
contemporary decoration. Set in the former chapel, La Capilla is quickly
garnering accolades for its contemporary and traditional Mexican fare. This
hotel can be combined with one of our htoels in Puebla for an even more
in-depth exploration of this area. Six rooms; restaurant;
library; meeting room. Rates from US$140 with full breakfast. Archaeological
and cultural packages available. Air access: Mexico City (1.5 hours).
