Jeremy Hermida's Top 10 Things to Do in Miami

Jeremy Hermida is the starting right fielder for the Florida Marlins, who are currently in 1st place the National League East. Hermida grew up in the Atlanta area but has spent the last four seasons as a fan-favorite in the Miami area playing for the Marlins. 

1.       My favorite Miami-area night spot is Mansion. There are always beautiful people in this spot.

2.       The tastiest 'undiscovered' South Florida restaurant is Rustic Inn right outside of Miami in Ft. Lauderdale. They have the best crab legs in all of Florida!

3.       My favorite 'dive bar' is a little place called Brass. It's a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of South Florida.

4.       When people come to see me play in Miami, the best place to stay is The Shore Club.  It has comfortable, trendy rooms and everyone loves to relax by their pool.

5.       The bar with the best-looking bartenders in Miami is a place called Automatic Slims near South Beach.

6.       The best place to take a girl on a date is Nobu. It is a cool spot with great sushi and various Japanese dishes.

7.       If I'm craving a steak in Miami, it's got to be at Shula's Steak House. You can't find a steak as good as theirs in all South Florida.

8.       The night club with the best music is Mokai. They always play the latest and most up-to-date music.

9.       My favorite place to take friends and family when they're in town visiting is Miami Seaquarium because there is so much to do and see.

10.   The best beach to 'see and be seen' would definitely have to be South Beach.
