Hanalei Colony Resort

Hanalei Colony Resort, a small, intimate beach resort on Kauai's north shore, has announced two packages for 2004, offering great values for travelers seeking soft adventure or romance. The new packages are available for travel January 5 through December 19, 2004.

Hanalei Colony's Explore Napali package is designed for active travelers who want to explore Kauai's spectacular north shore while making their "home base" at Hanalei Colony. The 2004 "Explore Napali" package includes five or seven nights accommodations in a two-bedroom ocean view condominium, a Wrangler Jeep  or convertible car rental for the duration,  a two-hour guided tour of historic Limahuli Garden, a kayak for a day on the Hanalei River, an in-room or beachfront his & her massage, a guidebook on hiking Kauai's trails, and a special hiking-oriented gift. The package is designed and priced for two people but can be extended up to a party of four for an additional fee.  The  2004 Explore Napali five-night package price is $1,518 during low season (January 5 thru May 31 and September 9 thru December 19) and $1,618 for high season travel (June 1 through September 8). The seven-night package price is $1,740 for low season and $1,855 during high season.

Whether for outdoor enthusiasts or couples seeking a romantic hideaway,  it would be hard to imagine a more ideal setting than Hanalei Colony. The 5-acre low-rise property is located on a long curve of golden beach near the end of the road in Ha'ena, Kauai's remote northernmost town. Nestled on the beach against a backdrop of magnificent mountains, Hanalei Colony offers 48 two-bedroom condominium units with fully equipped kitchens and private lanais (patios),  all with sweeping views of Hanalei Bay or lush, towering mountains. Described as "unspoiled and unplugged", Hanalei Colony prides itself on its secluded, restful atmosphere. For honeymoons, anniversaries or other romantic getaways, Hanalei Colony offers a 2004 Honeymoon Hideaway Package that includes five or seven nights accommodations in a two-bedroom oceanview or premium oceanfront condo, a convertible rental car, a two-hour guided tour of tropical Limahuli Garden, an in-room or beachfront his & her massage, and a romantic gift on arrival.

The Honeymoon Hideaway five-night package price  is $1,470 per couple for an oceanview unit  or $1,945 for a premium oceanfront unit during low season;  $1,568 for ocean view or $2,120 for a premium oceanfront unit during high season. The seven-night Honeymoon Hideaway package price is $1,680 per couple for an oceanview unit  or  $2,250 for a premium oceanfront unit during low season;   $1,800 for an oceanview or $2,460 for a premium oceanfront unit during high season.

The Explore Napali and Honeymoon Hideaway package prices include tax and are based on double occupancy. Additional car and room nights can be added at a discounted rate. The packages cannot be combined with any other discount offer.

Hanalei Colony Resort amenities include a swimming pool, Jacuzzi spa, barbecue and picnic areas, a guest laundromat, and twice-weekly maid service. Guests are invited to a weekly complimentary continental breakfast and an afternoon mai tai party in the resort's beautiful beachfront "Makana Room". The resort offers a variety of wellness activities, including yoga sessions and therapeutic massage services. In addition, Hanalei Colony hosts a weekly luau produced by the legendary north shore restaurant, Tahiti Nui.
