Beaujolais Wine Festival's 20th Anniversary - a Worldwide
Celebration!
Get ready to uncork Beaujolais Nouveau 2003
An estimated 2,000 Texas wine lovers will be among the first
to taste the 2003 Beaujolais Nouveau and become part of the world's largest
simultaneous Beaujolais wine event and gourmet food tasting.
The 20th Anniversary of the Beaujolais Festival will be held
at the Adam's Mark Dallas at 400 North Olive Street on Friday, November 21
from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is being organized by the
French-American Chamber of Commerce Dallas/Fort Worth.
By French Law, Beaujolais Nouveau - a light and fruity red
wine known for its history and flavor - is only released from wineries at
the stroke of midnight on the third Thursday of every November. In France,
this starts a "fete populaire" from the streets of country villages to the
heart of Paris. The Chamber has arranged for some of the first cases to be
flown in from France in time to celebrate simultaneously with the rest of
the world.
Participants at the Dallas event will sample the 2003
Beaujolais Nouveau as well as many other excellent Beaujolais vintages
provided by Glazer's Distributors, Republic Beverage Company, Grand Crew,
and Horizon Wines.
Corporate Sponsors are: Michael Burns & Associates, Inc.;

four cents an acre. The 800,000-plus square miles of land eventually would
be divided into all or part of fifteen American States: Louisiana, Arkansas,
Missouri, Iowa, North Dakota, Texas, South Dakota, New Mexico, Nebraska,
Kansas, Wyoming, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Colorado and Montana.
