Couples and Water Enthusiasts Packages

The Sands at Grace Bay, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

The Sands at Grace Bay, the six-acre, 116-suite, four-star resort property, is offering wedding and honeymoon packages for the romantic at heart and a scuba diving package for the adventurous in the water. The sugary white sand beach of Grace Bay, candle-lit evenings on the dune deck, and excursions with fish, dolphins and turtles form a memorable backdrop to customized romantic holidays and water adventures.

Custom wedding packages assist the bride and groom with the big event from flowers to special receptions and from make-up to styling. The dune deck and the white sand beach of Grace Bay are popular spots for nuptials. The traditional wedding package at $950 includes a wedding ceremony on the beach with a pastor or Justice of the Peace. All necessary paperwork is coordinated under Turks and Caicos Islands law. The bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonniere, celebratory bottle of champagne, wedding cake and souvenir wedding album complete the package. Other wedding options and combination wedding / honeymoon packages are also available year-round.

The Sands at Grace Bay allows honeymooners to customize the details of their visit by selecting their preferred suite and length of stay. Three night honeymoon packages in an ocean view studio suite start at $1,125 per couple from now to April 11, 2005 (Off-season rates start at $975). Seven night packages start at $2,325 per couple from now to April 11, 2005 (Off-season rates start at $1,975). Each package includes roundtrip airport transfers, bottle of champagne, breakfast in bed on preferred morning, sunset cruise, complimentary use of sporting goods such as bicycles, snorkel gear, kayaks, windsurfing and sailing equipment and an invitation to the Manager’s Rum Party. Hotel taxes and service fees are not included.

Providenciales boasts world-class diving. Excursions are led by Caicos Adventures, one of the leading dive operations on the island. The Sands at Grace Bay offers three, five and six-day packages with the option to add more days. The signature three-day dive package starts at $275, plus equipment. Accommodations are additional and start at $225 a night from January 2 to April 11, 2005 and $165 a night from April 12 to December 17, 2005. For the three-day package, water enthusiasts are offered roundtrip transportation to the dive boat fully-equipped with bathroom and shower; soft weights, belts and tanks; three two-tank dives with a combination of wall and reef diving; and lunch and drinks during the excursion. Night diving and snorkeling adventures provide additional options.

The Sands at Grace Bay offers a four-star hotel experience with welcoming, personal service in a family-friendly atmosphere.  Amidst six landscaped acres on a 12-mile beach, the Caribbean Plantation-style resort houses 116 suites. Features include three swimming pools, tennis and free use of non-motorized watersports. For more information and reservations call 1-877-77-SANDS (72637), book online at www.thesandstc.com.
