Wishing you a Sparkling Red Holiday

Edited By Madelyn Miller, the TravelLady

You are vibrant and stylish. Shouldn’t your wine match your mood and personality as much as the food you are enjoying?  Or if you are bringing a wine to a party,  aren’t you the kind of person who would choose something much more stylish than safe.

Chandon Introduces an Attractive New Sparkling Rosé

Just in time for the holiday season, Chandon rolls out the pink carpet with a new addition to the portfolio, Chandon Rosé. This latest release offers a savvy new choice for wine lovers seeking a quality wine with a sophisticated taste and a stylish look.

Everyone says I am stylish and bubbly. No wonder I love this wine so much. I can’t think of a better thing to toast with for the holidays

From the onset, Chandon has been at the forefront of innovation, bringing the very best of centuries-old French winemaking traditions to America. Chandon became the first American sparkling wine venture by a French Champagne house and, using traditional champagne methods, created sparkling wines that consumers have come to recognize as high quality, offering a choice for every occasion. The creation of Chandon Rosé is no different, with the Maison anticipating evolving trends and responding to the explosion in popularity of sparkling and rosé wines.

Consumers will be pleased to discover Chandon’s refreshing taste and versatility, as well as a creamy and structured palate, making Chandon Rosé the perfect pairing for holiday meals. The well-developed fruit and structure of this wine pairs well with traditional fare such as turkey and stuffing with cranberry sauce, baked ham or roasted lamb, as well as the more atypical flavors from the Mediterranean or South America that more and more people are welcoming onto their holiday menus.

Chandon Rosé is made from a traditional blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.  A small percentage of Pinot Noir is added at triage to give the wine its vibrant, deep color and elegant structure.  Fruit for the sparkling base wine is harvested early for delicate flavor, crispness and lower alcohol, while the remaining still wine grapes are picked at greater ripeness for intense flavor development.  The result is a dramatic deep pink sparkling wine with concentrated ripe red cherry, plum fruit aromas and flavors that are interwoven with apple, pear, and stone fruit.  The elegant, clear bottle gracefully showcases the vibrant color and hints at the fruit-forward taste one encounters upon opening.

Combining tradition and innovation is what gives Chandon the reputation for producing high quality wines that consumers turn to for every occasion.  Chandon Rosé is a bold and vibrant sparkling rosé well suited to meet the expectations of a sophisticated consumer market.
