Top 10 Foliage Rides
Edited by Madelyn Miller, the Travellady
I am an indoor girl. It has been so long since I have
ridden a bike that I might need training wheels. And even at my bike riding
best, I had to look straight ahead at the road and seriously concentrate on
where I was going. So for me, a padded indoor track for bike riding would be
fine.
But for outdoor lovers (and a lot of them tend to be bike
riders) here is a helpful list of the top ten places to bike ride if you want to
see fall foliage.
From Colorado to New York, Bicycling magazine names the
“Top 10 Foliage Rides
Top Ten include:
1.) Squaw Pass (Denver, CO)
2.) John Scott Loop (Winston-Salem, NC)
3. ) Hills in the Mist (West Chester, PA)
4.) Boulder’s Backroads (Boulder, CO)
5.) Otisco Lake (Syracuse, NY)
6.) Mason Neck (Alexandria, VA)
7.) Highland Scenic Highway (Slatyfork, WV)
8.) Michigan Fruit Belt (South Bend, MI)
9.) Lewis Peak (Ogden, UT)
10.) Levis-Trow Mounds (Eau Claire, WI)

I would rather have a list of the top ten places to shop.
Or the top ten times to buy things on sale. But I think that is another
magazine.
