Waterfront Blues Festival
Thousands Expected To
Attend Performances By Acclaimed Performers 11/8
Music fans across the Southland will be celebrating the
recent resolution passed by the United States Senate declaring 2003 to be
the "Year of the Blues" when the American Motorcycle Group presents the
Second Annual Waterfront Blues Festival at Newport Dunes Resort on Saturday,
November 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Among the acts scheduled to perform are
Coco Montoya, Blu Tobako, Guitar Shorty, Johnny Tucker Band and Elnora &
Sumpthin's Cookin.
"Thanks to the overwhelming success of last year's
show, which drew more than 1,500 music fans from across Southern California,
we decided to make the Waterfront Blues Festival an annual event here at the
Dunes," remarked Bill Horttor, director of special events and catering at
Newport Dunes Resort. "The wide array of musical acts, fine food and other
festivities will, no doubt, make this an ideal event for the entire family
to enjoy."

Called the "Ritz of RV Parks" by the Los Angeles Times,
Newport Dunes Resort boasts a state-of-the art 406-site RV park. Amenities
