Mya, Pussycat Dolls and Clive Barker to Make Appearances at West Hollywood Bash

West Hollywood, CA (October 21, 2003) – The City of West Hollywood, the West Hollywood Convention & Visitors Bureau, Miller Brewing Company and ClearChannel Entertainment have announced the entertainment line-up for the much-awaited 16th Annual West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval to take place on Friday, October 31st, 2003 in West Hollywood, California.

The free, one-night event is the world's largest Halloween street party with over 450,000 expected on Santa Monica Boulevard on Halloween night. R&B star Mya, will headline this year's Carnaval. Grammy® Award winning artist, Mya has recently released her third album, titled "Moodring," in which the talented performer expresses her talents through such popular hits as "My Love Is Like...Wo," a hit produced by famed producer, Missy Elliott. Trained as a dancer, Mya also performed in the Academy Award Winning film "Chicago."

Another headlining performance will be made by the famous Pussycat Dolls. Originally confined to the secrets surroundings of the Viper Room and Roxy, two famous West Hollywood Sunset Strip clubs, the Pussycat Dolls have gone mainstream with their performances. Appearing in "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" earlier in 2003, the Pussycat Dolls and its founders like Carmen Electra are famous for inviting celebrites to perform in their troupe, such as Pamela Anderson, Christina Applegate and Christina Aguilera.

Clive Barker, creator of the "Hellraiser" films series and best-selling horror author will be crowned "King of the Carnaval," while Andy Hallett, who plays Lorn on the TV series "Angel," will be this year's Honorary Mayor.

The West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval takes place between Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard on Santa Monica Boulevard between 6PM and 12AM on Friday, October 31, 2003.
