Fitch Hill Inn B&B, Hyde Park, VT:  Located between Vermont's Lamoille and Franklin counties, the Fitch Hill Inn is close to the highest concentration of covered bridges in New England, including one of the last remaining covered railroad bridges in the U.S., and another,  Emily's Bridge, that's said to be haunted! West Hill House B&B, Warren, VT:  You've hit the bonanza on covered bridges when you stay in the Mad River region of Vermont. From West Hill House, take the thirty mile loop, including six covered bridges, three of which can be seen at the same time - the perfect photo op! The Waitsfield covered bridge, just six miles from the inn, is the oldest covered bridge in continuous use in the state of Vermont. Follow SR4 to trace the trip Lewis and Clark took along Gray's River on their way to the Pacific.
