Desert AdventuresBe Crowned ‘The Scorpion King’!
The new evening Scorpion King Rally is part riddle rally, scavenger hunt, and orienteering activity, and it’s all fun. Beginning in Desert Adventures’ Old Mining Camp, guests are grouped into teams and assigned a role (team captain, navigator, treasure hunter, etc.).
Racing against the clock and each other, teams solve riddles, locate hidden items and navigate with a map and compass to explore steep-walled canyons. Points are lost for every wasted minute, as part of the challenge is figuring out an optimal strategy! To win, teams must work together to find desert creatures that hold the clue to advancement along the way, in hope of being the first to find the cherished scorpion and being crowned The Scorpion Kings!

Visitors can learn about
the many wonders of the Coachella Valley in an interactive and engaging way
through Desert Adventures Jeep Eco Tours and Special Events new and exciting
programs which foster teambuilding and team bonding.
The
race begins with team captains competing in a gold panning trough as they race
to find a golden nugget, allowing their team to enter a mine shaft and look for
the first clue. After finding the clue and solving the first riddle, teams board
big red jeeps and set-off on a desert madcap adventure.
