AWAIAULU
KE ALOHA
Hyatt Regency Kauai Resort & Spa Introduces Their
Ultimate Hawaiian Wedding Package
Awaiaulu Ke Aloha means love made fast by tying
together. It’s also the newest wedding package offered at the Hyatt Regency
Kauai Resort & Spa. Experience three days in paradise where our
knowledgeable wedding specialist will see to every beautiful detail.
Awaiaulu Ke Aloha begins with a limousine transfer from
Lihue Airport to the resort, complete with specialty wine and delicacies
created by our Executive Chef. After royal lei greeting of maile and ilima, the
wedding couple is graciously escorted to their 2-bedroom deluxe ocean suite.
During the leisurely walk to their room, the escort provides all the details of
their package including their preferred status in the resort, as well as
amenities such as daily spa membership at ANARA Spa and personal concierge
service. Upon arrival to the suite, they discover monogrammed robes from ANARA
Spa, in addition to massage oil, body lotion, bath salts and an aromatherapy
candle creating a mood of relaxation. Or, if they prefer to explore the
enchanting Garden Isle of Kauai, a convertible awaits the couple at the front
entrance of the resort.
What better way to work out the wedding jitters on the
second day than with the Couples Instructional Massage at the award-winning
ANARA Spa. This unique "hands on" experience in recreational massage
is presented to the wedding couple by one of our professional massage
therapists in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Following the massage, our wedding specialist meets with
the couple to finalize the details of their special day. From last minute spa
and salon appointments to site décor changes, the wedding specialist will be
with them every step of the way. In the afternoon, Awaiaulu Ke Aloha continues
on a chartered sailboat ride perfect for whale watching or viewing a
spectacular Kauai sunset. The wedding couple and six of their guests are
provided beautifully monogrammed towels and sun products before stepping on
board the "Spirit of Kauai" for a two-hour sailing adventure. After
being briefed by the captain and crew, the wedding party embarks on their
voyage. Throughout their adventure, they have the opportunity to sip on a
martini or mai tai while satisfying their palate with Executive Chef's culinary
delights. Menu items include Tiara of Onaga Gravlox, Maine Lobster and Daikon
Roll, Hamachi and Ahi Napolean, King Salmon Roulade with Caramelized Shallots
and Prime Cut Filet Mignon Medallions.
To perpetuate a wedding tradition, we have created two
unique experiences for the bride and groom on their wedding day. The bride will
spend the day with three guests in ANARA Spa enjoying French manicures,
pedicures, hair styling and make-up application. For lunch, the women will be
spoiled at Kupono Café with healthy and satisfying salads and sandwiches, while
royal Hawaiian gifts of Niihau shell leis are presented. The bride receives a
thirty-six inch rice-style lei, while her three guests are offered poepoe-style
leis. These unique leis are created from handpicked shells found only on
Hawaii's island, Niihau, referred to as "The Forbidden Island." The
rare shells are carefully sorted and sewn together in ancient Hawaiian styles.
While the women are getting pampered in ANARA Spa, the
groom and three of his guests are teeing off at Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course,
home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. The foursome will enjoy 18-holes of
breathtaking views on the Par-72 course. After an exhausting morning on the green, they may relax at Poipu Bay
Grill and Bar for an exciting menu of pupus (appetizers), innovative salads and
mouth-watering sandwiches. Humidors made from rare Koa wood by a local artisan
filled with fine cigars are presented just in time for the big celebration.
(Koa wood is considered a prized wood throughout the world for its strength,
grain and extraordinary color.)
The wedding couple finally meets again as the bride
meanders through the lush, tropical setting of the resort to the wedding site.
She will find the site elaborately decorated with florals, linens, and six
specialty leis for the guests as a memory of their special day. An officiant
waits to perform the ceremony under beautiful Hawaiian skies, while the songs
of the islands are performed by a Hawaiian Duo. As the wedding couple pledges
their vows, a photographer and videographer will capture their special moment
forever.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the wedding couple
may take a stroll on the beach, or just spend a moment relaxing with guests.
Then, it is off to Tidepools or Dondero's for an evening of fine cuisine in an
elegant setting. Having feasted on the cuisine of our award-winning chefs, our
pastry chef will then dazzle the party with an ornate wedding cake creation.
At the close of a perfect day in paradise, the newlyweds
return to their room to find decadent chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle
of fine champagne and rose petals scattered about their suite.
On the final day in paradise, The Hyatt wedding
specialist sees the newlyweds off with an exquisite koa wood frame containing a
wedding photo of their choice. They complete their adventure with a limousine
transfer to Lihue Airport.
