NORLANDS SERVES STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE, AND A SIDE OF HISTORY

Annual Strawberry Festival Held in Livermore, Maine on June 24

For at least 15 years, hundreds of hungry visitors each year visit the Norlands Living History Center in Livermore to enjoy home-made strawberry shortcake complete with real whipped cream and fresh-picked Maine berries. This year is no exception. The annual Strawberry Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 24 and include building tours, hay rides, music, crafts and other foods. A new twist has been added this year, however, as an evening meal has been added to the day's ‘menu.'

Reservations will be required for the sit-down event. Contact Norlands Living History Center by calling 207-897-4366.
