Summer 2000 Grandparent-Child Package
Offers All-Inclusive Fun For Any Age

As a family owned and operated property, the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail goes out of its way to cater to parents traveling with children. And now, to help bridge the generation gap, the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail offers the Summer 2000 Grandparent-Child Package�a new spin on childhood fun, no matter how old you are.

A five-night/four-day getaway for grandparents and grandchildren, the Summer 2000 Grandparent-Child Package is priced at $2,675, based on two grandparents and one child 12-years or younger, with the child staying in the grandparents� room. Available June 15 to Sept. 24, 2000, the package includes five nights� lodging, a fondue dinner at the Swiss Chalet, a casual dinner at the Bully Ranch, daily breakfast at the award-winning Ludwig�s Restaurant, and a daily �fun coupon� for each guest. Adults and kids can enjoy quality time together by redeeming �fun coupons� for activities such as river rafting, jeep tours, guided fishing excursions and horse trail rides, or adults can take a �time-out� and use the coupons for select spa treatments at the Sonnenalp Spa. The Sonnenalp�s KidVentures Program, offering fun and recreation like panning for gold, alpine sliding, hiking and swimming, is available if the fun coupons run out at no charge.

Children over the age of 12 are an extra $40 per day and additional children in the grandparents� room are $380 per person for lodging and package inclusions. Additional nights are also available. Priced at $1,809, the Grandparent-Child Package is also offered April 23 to June 15 and Sept. 24 to Nov. 22, 2000, with additional children in the grandparents� room being $308 for lodging and package inclusions.
