TYLOSAURUS RULES AGAIN
Imagine yourself living 70 million years ago. Dinosaurs
were roaming the earth and incredible prehistoric beings populated the seas. Now
you don’t have to use your imagination at all. Now you can experience a
recreated underwater environment with 50 prehistoric marine skeletons including
giant reptiles, fish, and squid, mounted on all of the surfaces of a painted
life-size depiction of the ocean in which they lived. The largest skeleton
is of the ferocious 45-foot long Bunker Tylosaurus which is believed to have
lived 88 to 78 million years ago. The Natural History Museum in Los Angeles at
900 Exposition Blvd. presents this incredible display until October 9.
Museum hours are 10 am to 5 pm, seven days a week. For more information call
(213) 763 3516. www.nhm.org
